Making snowflakes with our buddy class

The children had great fun making these fabulously simple snowflakes with our Year 5 buddy class. I'm pretty sure they will be an amazing decoration to add to their collections at home.

Thank you to Rachel Pomfrett and Jennifer Wright for their help today.

Athletics Day a great success today!

We had a great day today at Glover Park. All children showed excellent manners and sportsmanship. The day started with the class sprint races, then moved on to the rotations (hurdles, sack races, egg & spoon, discus etc), and the day finished off with the class relay races with Room 34 coming off the winners for Year 2!

Thank you so much to Rebecca McRobie, Debbie Schultz, Jennifer Wright and Kate Ball who helped supervise groups today. Also, thanks to those parents and grandparents who came along to support their child/children. Fantastic!

'Summer Schools Festival' performances

A great day was had by all today. We were very lucky to watch 3 great performances - mine, dance and drama. All performers were very entertaining and there was laughter enjoyed by all.

A big thank you to those parents who helped on this field trip today.

Print Making project

Our fabulous print making project has come to an end. We began by completing a self-potrait (these are currently being displayed in the Junior Office foyer), and then we moved on to completing a structures print. The children used their pictures from home for inspiration, can you guess some of the structures below?

Currently these are being displayed in the classroom however, I will send these home towards the end of term. If you have a 'hard to buy for' person in your family, then these framed could make a great Christmas gift!
